
Anthony Ching is a Board member of CCA.
Anthony migrated to Sydney Australia and started Year 8 at Homebush Boys High School. He graduated in 1987 with Bachelor of Dental Surgery at Sydney University. In 1988, Anthony moved to Hong Kong and practised dentistry at various organisations such as private practices and non-profitable dental clinics. During the stay in Hong Kong, he was involved in Rotary Club of H.K. City North, Hong Kong Austria Association, Chinese Business Chamber of Commerce, and Jaycee association.
Anthony completed his Master degree in Business Administration at Andrews University, Michigan, USA and came back to Sydney and started working for Primary Health care as a dentist, took over an existing practice at Parramatta and work as a solo practitioner and located the surgery to Eastwood until current. He is a member of the Eastwood Chamber of Commerce since 2012 and elected as the Vice President in 2019, a member of Hong Kong Australia Business Association(NSW) Chapter, a Committee member of Australian Chinese Charity Foundation ACCF and an Advisor for the Special Children Service Centre SCSC.
Anthony served as an ordinary member of the Australian Liberal Party and involved in the committee of Liberal Party Chinese Chamber. He was actively involved in assisting the Federal election for John Alexander in 2009, 2013, and 2017; state election of Greg Smith in 2010; and Victor Dominello in 2008, 2011, and 2015. He is also a co-ordinator of the small business committee of Liberal Party. He also contributed in assisting the formation of the Ryde Community Forum, in which he became the Vice President.
Appointed as the Chinese community Ambassador to Hon Victor Dominello MP for Ryde. City of Ryde Council advisory board member of Economic Development, Event and Festival, and Multicultural committees. Anthony is also an organising committee member and Vice Chair for the Lunar New Year celebration events for the City of Ryde council.
