Stephen Kemp is the Secretary of CCA.
Stephen graduated from the University of New South Wales in 1972 with BSC (Food Technology). Since that time he has worked in the food industry for a number of international and local food related companies including BHP, Reckitt & Colman, Grundy Thompson, Bush Boake Allen, International Flavours and Fragrances, and FreshFood Corporation. He has held a number of technical and general management roles in the areas of Quality Assurance, Risk Management, New Product Development and general Production Management.
Currently he has retired from full time work and is working two days per week as a Technical Consultant with FreshFood Corporation, a coffee manufacturer based at Concord.
Stephen has lived in Eastwood for the past 30 years. He is married to Wendy and has three adult children, Phillipa, Simon and Adrian. During this time he has been actively involved in community activities while bringing up three children and continues to be active in the mission life of the Eastwood Uniting Church.
Stephen has a broad range of interests that include cycling, golf, tennis, bridge, philatelic and gardening.
His motivation for being involved in CCA was to give something back to a local community that has richly supported him over the past 30 odd years.
