Hi, my name is Lakshmi and I have been a Family Day Care Educator for 19 years.

My Family Day Care service aims to provide a nurturing and safe environment for children to support their needs. I believe that each child is unique and has various abilities of different stages. Therefore, aiming to understand a child at their level and acknowledging their interests plays a major role within my day care. Promoting several experiences to develop their understanding to improve and educate their skills further is of paramount importance to me.

A holistic approach is taken in my Family Day Care for teaching, and the physical, social, emotional and cognitive aspects for children and their learning are considered.
Families are valued for their various views upon diversity and customs. I respect other’s values and beliefs and have an unbiased opinion. I appreciate the various cultures, perspectives and encourage children to be more culturally diverse and share their knowledge with their peers and those surrounding them.
