Miranda’s Family Day Care

Hi! My name is Miranda. After being a high school maths teacher for 11 years, I migrated from China to Australia in 2004. I studied at Meadowbank TAFE and achieved the Certificate III in Children’s Services in 2007 and am currently in the midst of completing my Diploma. I love children and have always dreamt of having my own small business, so I started my Family Day Care with the support from CCA NSW in 2008.

I believe that children are diverse individuals and develop at their own pace. I devote myself to providing an environment which reflects an appreciation of culture, needs, values and opinions and schedule the weekly program based on children’s interests; aiming to develop children’s physical, social, emotional, cognitive and other skills.
